Refund policy
Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with the Consumer Code, the consumer-customer has a period of 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide a reason for their decision.
This period begins on the day the customer—or a third party designated by the customer, other than the carrier—takes physical possession of the product.
In the case of an order comprising several products delivered separately, the period begins upon receipt of the last product.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must notify MAISON CORLEONE of their decision before the 14-day period expires, either by email at contact@maisoncorleone.com or by mail to the registered office address.
The customer may use the standard withdrawal form provided in the appendix, although doing so is not mandatory.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply, in particular, to products made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalized.
This applies specifically to items manufactured or ordered based on the customer's choices, such as: custom dimensions, specific colors outside the standard catalog, special materials, bespoke configurations, markings, personalization, non-standard special orders, or custom manufacturing.
The customer is informed of this exception prior to order confirmation if the product in question falls into this category.
Product returns following withdrawal
In the event of withdrawal, the customer must return the product complete, unused, clean, and in perfect condition, including all accessories, manuals, and original packaging suitable for safe transport.
Direct return costs are borne by the customer, unless the return is due to an error by MAISON CORLEONE or a proven lack of conformity.
For bulky products that cannot be returned by post, MAISON CORLEONE will inform the customer of the estimated return cost before arranging the collection. Any product returned damaged, incomplete, used beyond what is necessary for a simple inspection, soiled, or unfit for resale may be subject to a deduction in value or a refusal of a partial refund, in accordance with applicable law.
Refund following withdrawal
In the event of a valid exercise of the right of withdrawal, MAISON CORLEONE shall refund all sums paid by the customer.
MAISON CORLEONE will process the refund upon receipt of the returned product.
The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the original order, unless the customer expressly agrees to a different method.
Statutory warranties
Consumer customers benefit from the statutory warranty of conformity provided for in Articles L217-3 et seq. of the Consumer Code, as well as the warranty against hidden defects provided for in Articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code.
Under the statutory warranty of conformity, the seller is liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery and appearing within two years thereof. In the event of a defect, the customer may request the repair or replacement of the product. If this is impossible, the customer may request a price reduction or the cancellation of the sale.
Under the warranty against hidden defects, the customer must prove that the hidden defect existed at the time of the sale and renders the product unfit for its intended use.
For any warranty claim, the customer should contact MAISON CORLEONE at contact@maisoncorleone.com, providing the order number, a precise description of the issue, photographs, and any relevant supporting documentation.
